Sharing is Caring.

I don’t mind sharing ( sometimes)   but this is getting ridiculous.

sharing

Social norms  should have dictated that they not cast into my pool, especially since  I had been  happily fishing in that pool, but no  I watched not one, but two others ( and Shadow Priests at that)  Cast their rods into ‘my’ pool.

Guess what happened.  The pool disappears after we each get 1 fish each.   Very productive.

While its a free  realm- and there are no rules that they can’t choose to cast in my school of fish  –  I didn’t call them ninja’s – I was too amused, and busy taking screenshots  – what are the chances of 3 Shadow Priests fishing in the same pool – 😛

Seize the Fish or Carpe Carp

My fishing skill is climbing – and I have to say its the most boringest and longest to skill up profession – well also maybe because like herbing, mining and skinning its rather difficult to speed level. Has anyone ever calculated how many times you need to click that annoying little cog ( not even counting the ” Your fish has got away’s’ and ‘No fish are hooked” Im not sure I want to know….

I click therefore I fish.

However there is something soothing in the gentle sound of the water lapping on the shore, and if you close your eyes you can somewhat reaslistically imagine being on a boat and the sounds are real water.
You then however miss clicking on the bobber and you have no fish for dinner.

I must admit the Find Fish Spell from the Weather Beaten Journal I got from doing the Daily fishing quest one day is useful, ( no Baby croc though… ) I fly around lakes wasting precious moments of my + fishing buff eg the Sharpened Fishing Hook which has been a common reward for the Fishing daily. But it increases my chance of finding a Pool of Zangarian Sporefish which when cooked into Blackened Sporefish and sell better then what else I catch in Zanger. ( aren’t I all full of links today… )

Amongst some interesting things.. there is always the off hand fish.. the perfect accessory for the Fashionista – strutting your stuff in Shatterah.. Huge Spotted Feltail See aren’t I stylish….

NOT!

The Fish

Long Haul – Long weekend – Shadoweave

In a bid to save money for my house deposit – Yes I know wrong time in current Market – but its a dream to be reality..  I stayed home this long weekend and  ( besides family) and I played lots of WOW However it was a very expensive weekend on WOW –

Got my fishing to  256 – ( I have been fishing in Zangarmarsh with a +100 Aquadynamic attachamebob.)  but Giving away/donating any decent fish to guild bank

Leveled my Mage Alt to 50 and got her to train her Alchem to over 300 in Honour Hold ( brought a port to shatt- and free flight to Honour hold !)

and… in a delicate mix of farming Mats / Selling items produced / disenchanting items produced I managed  to Speed Leveled Tailoring to 357 – Shadowweave Specialist.  (It was 4am when I leveled to pick a spec and I picked spellfire 1st  and made my spellfire triggering the cooldown in error.  and had to pay 150 G to unlearn, and then 20 more to learn Shadowweave  / cry )

I have made the Shoulders –  ( thats 10 primal water  and 4 Shadowcloth plus some Nether Spidy Silk )

So I used my cloth proc and more money for the primals to make the shadowcloth, and brought 2 more cloth to make it. .

I then had to spend a heap on arcane tomes  to get more scyer tokens for the shoulder slot enchancement.

I want the three set.  Im going to lose alot of Stamina. But – the set bonus will mean I can more comfortably drop improved Vampiric Embrace – and free up 2 talent points – I don’t think the set bonus of healing causes argo – it will also make my Shadow Damage alot higher.  Im at 1020 with Just the shoulders.

(3) Set: Your Frost and Shadow damage spells heal you for 2% of the damage they deal.

Also did some PVP – Help a few friends on various things – A full Kara Clear and 1 complete herioc – and another one that we couldn’t finish because it was being reset. ( yes it was early in the morning our time. )

So the various things I did to make Gold this weekend –

Made and Sold 4 mystic spellthreads  ( The Mats are basically 5 primal Mana’s  and Runic thread as its a rep based recipe.  for around 90 G and

Made and sold 10 imbued netherweave 18 slot bags for around 30 G each. these prices are undermarket – but i needed them sold so I could buy more netherweave cloth/bolts to continue speedleveling –  I farmed the Silk in trekkor so I didnt have to buy it.

Sold my Spellstrike cloth that I had made in error.

Made some Sporling Snacks ( pet  +stam food ) from extremly cheap strange spores off the AH and sold some of them there werent any on the AH but I sold 10 for 5gish

Vendored all my greys from farming – paid for repairs and then plus some.

Sold some Blackened Basilisks

And the coin that drops off humanoids.

I also got an epic leatherworking pattern which I still need to sell..  my GM wants it and Im at a lost for what to ask for ..  Wowhead said 1000 buy out..   which would give me the cash to finish leveling tailoring….   but how much of a discount do u give the Gm..  when I realllly need the cash – and everytime I get a really good drop someone always ‘needs’ it – oh i have to have that….  Next time I think I’m just gonna be quite and sell it on Ah..   then I might get my epcic Flyer 😛

Tier 4 The Incarnate Regalia

I stuffed up my raid sign up last night, and  changed my note to say I was available,  but didnt uncheck a box so I still appeared in the cancelled sign up list – and I missed out on the Tempest Keep invite.    So as I was still on anyway I figured I’d farm in the area and be around if they needed.  They didnt.  BUT – I got the invite to Grul’s Lair where we one shotted the whole thing rather quickly – and because It was almost a Nana run – I got two pieces of Tier 4 The Mantle Soul Mantle of the Incarnateand the legs.  Leggings of the Incarnate The mantle once it was fully Chanted and Gemed up is only a +8extra damage untill I hunt down some better Gems, and the Leggings I won’t wear untill I Get the Runed Spell thread on it. and that means me farming 10 Primal Mana’s and hoping a Guildy that can make the thread has some spare nether I can pay for standard cost of – Or go on a Heroric run with them so they can get.
I love upgrades, but the cost in rechanting/Gemming them is silly sometimes.
Or – I can Level up my Tailoring ( 175 now) and Still farm the Mana’s and use 1 of the 3 Nethers I have in bank to make it. ( as its a Scyers reward! )

So this weekend was rather productive – I got my fishing past 230 – after fishing for half an hour and realising I didnt have the +225 Skill quest done, and so ran around the world completing that and then got bored so soon after. ( did you know you can fish while Levitating as a priest – It looks kool in Shadow, just hanging in middle of ocean.) I also speed leveled my tailoring to Mageweave. Now I just need to start farming cloth because the price is getting too high on AH –
