I’m pretty much stuck on 160 insciption. I wasn’t prepared enough. I I don’t have enough of the herbs I need, and at 90 gold a stack of herbs required to make it just wasn’t worth it. I don’t have a enough stacks for the next phase either, but I should be right once I get to outland skill – have plenty of outlands herbs stashed away.
I wasn’t going to have the time to go kill some mobs so I had a bash at the weapons dummys in Ironforge. I’m not quite happy with where I have my points, I can’t disect them as they are because Armory is still showing the old tree.
But between a Mana Pot, a Fiend, and a Dispersion – I bashed the dummys in Iron forge for a bit to test the new tree, and Its ok – I can see an increase in damage, and the Shadowweave nerf hasn’t done an terrible thing. Haven’t run a Dps Metre yet,
Got to remember to throw in Devouring plague, which as a dot that costs 600 odd mana its a little expensive, but I’m assuming as its shadow damage that it will be affected by VT and VE
Tried to do a BG to test out my new spells, but server had a fit, and I got booted, so I gave up, and had an early night.( I’m chewing through Book 3 of the Kris longknife series by Mike Shepard. Kris is no Honor harrington, but I get her pet computer is much like Nimtz Honors tree cat.)
I did run around doing some of the achievements, got to 20 drinks out of the 25 for the drinking achievement. Goldshire Inn has a lot of alchohol.
Your achievments are announced in guild chat. Not sure I like that..
and I also tried to do the falling 65 feet achievement. I can tell you what doesn’t work.
Levitate
Slowfall ( tried on my mage)
Falling into water for a great height.( Tried the Lake outside Shatt )
Falling down the Darnasses waterfall ( I mounted up to get leverage away from the mountain, levitated away from the branches, dropped the levitate buff off, Fell more then 65 feet.. seriously thats like a kilometre down, and then levitating close to the bottem ( incase I hit trunk ) I then levitated into blue water got fatigued, but made it back safe – and NO acheivement.
Stamming up and falling above a’dal.
Stamming up, falling from A’dal and hitting dispersion as soon as you start falling.
I have read some of the forums, so I will try what everyone else has done now..
but the most interesting things was – I had stammed up to about 12k health ( in my pvp gear) I was getting hit for just over 12 k fall damage ( tried that twice) so I figuired 90% of that damage reduced for dispersion sounds awesome. So I tried it.
Dispersion does not work for fall damage. That is not fair.
Is fall damage different to Physical damage? Cause I thought dispersion was ALL damage.
I need to test again, and I will screenshot the combat log – but did anyone else find the same?
